This describes the new standard operating procedure that RCS is requiring members of the Centre for Health Genomics and Informatics (named DNA-seq lab, below) to follow when sharing data to those who need it. Previously, RCS staff would manually initiate the transfer, but should ultimately be made the responsibility of the research group due to its frequent nature.
The first step is to select the File Manager in the left panel. Then place the cursor in the Collection text field to search for an existing collection.
Search for arc-dtn collection and in the results list click on collection details icon (the 3-dot icon)
Click on the Collections tab (1) and then add a guest collection by clicking on the Add Guest Collection button on the right side (2).
Note that this only needs to be done once. No data is shared until permissions are granted in the next step. Fill all the fields in the corresponding window and click on Create Collection.
